« Excellent beach view! We were lucky and had 4 days with GREAT weather, so looking for whales (sadly, we didn't see any) and checking the tide was super easy. A very easy 3-minute walk to the beach also made this convenient. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook in. My only "complaint" (and not really an issue) was that the kitchen and living area is on the top floor -- with no bathroom on that level, so LOTS of stairs to navigate. I certainly got all my steps in each day! ...

« I think unless you’re on the top floor get ready to hear your upstairs neighbor’s footsteps and… whatever else they’re doing. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds/showers were perfect. The rooms would have been perfect if I could have left the fan blowing on the air conditioner unit all night to drown out noise, but it’s not a feature you can make stay on continuously. I wised up and let the bathroom exhaust fan run all night the second night, which is loud enough on its own to drown out...

« The owner bent over backwards to make our one night stay comfortable and relaxing. The Admirals room was small and a bit difficult to navigate the hallway to the private bath for the visually handicapped but was not a problem otherwise. Breakfast was excellent. If you have a choice I'd stay in the Captains quarters, a larger room. »
