Dies spiegelt sich in der umfangreichen Küchenausstattung wider, in der Sie nach Herzenslust Gerichte zubereiten können. Bei der Ankunft war die Unterkunft sauber und ordentlich. Aufgrund des Staus kamen wir eine halbe Stunde zu spät, aber das war kein Problem. Die Tür war bereits geöffnet und wir konnten uns in Ruhe niederlassen. Am nächsten Tag kam der Besitzer vorbei und wir konnten die Kaution überweisen. Es handelt sich um ein ländliches Gebiet mit landwirtschaftlicher Tätigkeit. Sie mähen, füttern, sägen und arbeiten nach Herzenslust auf dem Land rund um die Unterkunft. Im Garten stört das aber nicht weiter, denn direkt daneben grasen Wildschweine, Rehe, Ziegen und Pferde in einem geschlossenen Bereich. Auch für den Hund ist der Garten ideal, da er umzäunt und recht groß ist. Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes zweimal ein Problem. Einmal mit der Waschmaschine und einmal mit einem Feuerlöscher, der von der Wand gefallen war. Beide Probleme wurden vom Eigentümer sorgfältig gelöst. In anderen Bewertungen wird oft vom Lärm in der Unterkunft gesprochen. Das ist zwar so, aber für unsere große Familie mit älteren Familienmitgliedern war das kein großes Problem. Die Hälfte des Hauses besteht nur aus Dielen als Dielen, was den Lärm kaum dämmt. Die andere Hälfte verfügt über festere Böden. Wenn Sie also ruhig schlafen möchten, können Sie dort Ihr Zimmer wählen. Für einen perfekten Aufenthalt ist es hilfreich, wenn Sie Französisch sprechen können. Er liggen er nu twee en dan moet je daarvoor nog naar de supermarkt om erbij te kopen. Voor de kinderen was er meer dan genoeg te doen: een arcade, biljart-, pingpong- én kickertafel. 's Avonds konden we lekker opwarmen in de sauna met sterrenhemel. En we waren allemaal grote fan van Basile, het zwijn in de aangrenzende weide die komt als je hem roept (en iets te eten geeft)! Voor de oudere kinderen was er ook genoeg te doen, poolen ( met de handicap van de muur en trap die te dicht op de tafel staan), darten (pijltjes zijn wat bot), tafelvoetbal, tafeltennis (wel zelf balletjes meenemen) en jeu de boules. De trampoline was helaas niet meer aanwezig, dat vonden de 2 jongste kinderen wel jammer. In de omgeving was genoeg te doen. De grotten van Comblain is ook een aanrader. Een rondleiding met uitleg hoe de grot ontstaan is op een zeer leuke manier. Als je van winkelen houdt is Luik ongeveer 45 minuten rijden. Op zondag is daar een zeer grote markt. Voor de jongste kinderen zijn we ook een dag naar Plopsa Coo geweest, leuk park maar wel erg druk, 1 uur wachten bij de attracties. Parc Chlorophylle is een wandeling door een bos met allerlei leerzame wetenswaardigheden en speeltuinen. Leuk park en mooi opgezet. Al met al hebben wij een erg leuke vakantie gehad.
