"We always love our stay at Big Timbers near Itaska Park. The cabin is very cozy and welcoming with a wonderful history. We love that our pups are able to come along as well. There is so much to do in Itaska Park and area but we come to visit our granddaughters now. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back. "

"Stayed at Shooting Star Casino on September 6 and had a great experience. I use a wheelchair and the accessible room worked perfectly. Staff were wonderful — they moved my mom’s room next door to mine and even provided her a wheelchair so she didn’t have to walk far. We also enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant. Excellent service and very accommodating! They. Could use more handicap parking. "

"This was our 3rd stay at the Hilton Tilton. First stay though in several years. Several upgrades had been made and the place keeps getting better. Caught several walleyes and Northerns off the dock. Really enjoyed the kayak and used the paddle boat. Fired up the wood fired sauna several times for a good sweat and at night we relaxed in the hot tub. Outhouse was very clean and did not detect any bad odors. Weather was perfect for our stay. Check in and out was very smooth. We will be back for a 4th time in the future. Great location and great lake for activities. "

"We stayed at Cabin Elenor, and loved how cozy it was. Spacious for a family of 3, plenty of board games, movies, and books as well. They also had a full kitchen with supplies, and fully running refrigerator and water. Bathroom was clean and was supplied with hygiene items as well. The only con inside the cabin was that the sink in the bathroom was backed up, and started filling with dirty water right away, so we had to brush and wash our hands in the kitchen sink. The outside was wonderful. It has a deck you can walk directly out to, and we ate breakfast there outside and enjoyed the scenery. They also had a nice little fire pit right outside the cabin, which was surrounded by large boulders; it made it feel very warm and secluded. They also have plenty of trails for hiking, riding an ATV, and playing area for children, which included a swing set just a short walk from the cabin, as well as a half court basketball court and hoop. Many things to love about this place! We will be back someday."

"We enjoyed so many aspects of our family vacation on the Island! First, we were on an Island! on the most beautiful lake we've ever encountered. We enjoyed the sauna, lake toys and spending family time together. Two frigs is a bonus! Rikka was responsive in handling any concerns that came up and we would love to return to the Island some day. I would ask about Finicky Freida, the pontoon is basically just a vehicle to transport items from the landing to the Island. I am fortunate to have a handy Motor-knowing hubby who could manage the outboard quirks...but, it would be really challenging for a novice. Rikka said they would be looking into retiring her... I would ask if the issues have been addressed before renting it. But if you just want to get your items to and front the Island...this will work. Overall, it was a fabulous week and I would recommend this experience. We loved the lake, nature, are attractions and experience! Also, a Friday to Friday stay was nice as it gave us the weekend to regroup and head back to the grind. "
