Even though I only stayed one night, the experience was amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, making my stay a very memorable one. The food is incredible, whether you choose to dine A La Carte or try one of their very well put together Degustacion menus. Great selection of wine and they take great deal of pride in presenting the local Bordeaux region, its wines and local delicacies. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. They location was great, walking distance to the old town, river etc. Grocery store next door and shopping center across the street. Easy to get there by tram from the train station, the stop is 2 blocks away. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, although it was the same food every day. So much to choose from it was ok, would have appreciated more variety in the cheeses, cakes, bread offered day by day. The A/C worked well in the room overall, but in the suite bedroom, we had to leave the divider door open or it got stuffy in the bedroom, We were a family or 4. They had the sofa bed all prepared for the kids and free mini bar waters and sodas the whole stay, very nice. The one complaint we had was the bathroom situation which was very annoying. The toilet is in a separate tiny room by the door, with no sink nearby. You have to walk around the corner and open the divider to the bedroom and go in there to find the sink to wash hands. This is very annoying at night trying to navigate around the corner in the dark not to wake kids, to find the toilet and touching everything before washing hands (and imagining everyone else who has done so). There really should be another mini sink either in the toilet space or where the mini-bar is. We were there 5 nights and this was a constant annoyance. However, overall the stay was great. I have friends that live nearby, so I will probably stay here again, however I will ask if they have a room with better layout.

This is a beautifully elegant hotel. Each room is unique with high quality fittings and products , particularly the quirky but very wearable bathrobes and the Dyson hair dryer. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble
