Enjoyed our stay. Nice beach with good snorkeling was within walking distance. Food, groceries, etc are nearby. Only thing I did not like is that EXTRA charge that I was not expecting, $20 daily resort fee plus tax....when I paid through Expedia I thought there would be no additional costs.

The location of this hotel for the price cannot be beat. It is across the street from 2 of the nicest beaches on the island Napili bay and Kapalua beach. The full kitchen and laundry in the suite were a huge bonus.This hotel is a little run down but everything was in working order and it was fairly clean. This is a great place for an affordable vacation to maui. The area the hotel is located is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. A short drive to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend.

PROS: Grounds- nice, pretty to look at. Pool and hot tub Location- across the street from more expensive hotels and beach. Furnishings- nice. great to have a full kitchen and fridge with appliances, etc.and a gull living room area. CONS: Office- is awful. They close at 5 and are not even there on Mon. and Tue. We checked in on a Tue. and had to interrupt our vacation plans to come into to the office to give them a card and physically sign in. Don't make your problem mine, I'm your customer. If that is so important, show up when I arrive to get your business completed. They also added a Resort Fee that was not mentioned on Expedia. Bugs- slat windows do not keep bugs out and they were everywhere inside the room. Rooster- every morning it starts around 4:30 and goes all day. Cleanliness- the laundry closet was disgusting! I wiped years worth of dust-bunnies off of the top of the washing machine and coukd see the grime on the ceiling from years of neglect. Toilets- loud and weak. We had two bathrooms and both toilets clogged.

I didn't like the fact you can hear everything from the people above you. From cell phones to people using the bathrooms to just every step they made. We had 3 different people check in above us during our stay and same results for all. If you do plan to stay at this location request to stay on the top floor.
