"Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely. "

"The villa is located in Villagio Piras on the eastern flank of La Maddelena in an elevated position maybe 200m from the sea. The shoreline is rocky with a very small beach about 500m away; the larger Spaiggia di Spalmatore is at a distance of 1500m. There are no local services; the nearest supermarket is at a distance of 3km and the large majority of bars and restaurants are in La Maddelena town so a car or scooter is really essential.
