"We had a wonderful stay at Fox River Retreat in St. Charles, IL. As VRBO owners ourselves, we truly appreciated how thoughtfully this home was prepared—every detail was considered. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming.We traveled with our 8‑month‑old granddaughter, and it was such a relief to find a foldable high chair, pack‑and‑play, and several other baby‑friendly items already provided. It made our stay so much easier and more comfortable.Communication from the hosts was excellent from the moment we booked through checkout—friendly, prompt, and helpful every step of the way. The location is fantastic as well, close to everything in a great area.We would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this home and these wonderful hosts!"

"Beautiful! The house itself is an absolute treasure—wonderfully updated and decorated. If you want cozy and chic vibes this is the place for you. The all slate downstairs bathroom was especially spa-like. The kitchen was functional and well-equipped. This would be the perfect stay for a girls or a remote working situation. The yard and bonus room at the back of the yard add extra living space. The beds were very comfortable but the bedrooms are small. We stayed here with our two young sons. They loved the yard, games, and neighborhood, but I would not say the house itself is particularly kid-friendly. We managed, but just be aware if you are traveling with Littles. "

"Beautiful place. This cozy and charming guest house had everything we needed for an extended weekend stay. Our hostess truly thought of everything, her space is warm, inviting, comfortable and stocked with some sweet treats for both us, and our Labrador Wally. It’s so close to downtown Geneva, and situated in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the proximity to a beautiful park and enjoyed spending time on the deck relaxing in the evenings. Courtney was an amazing host, warm, welcoming and we loved meeting her well behaved rescue dogs, while chatting with her. We highly recommend this home if you’re headed to the area, or even if you just need a quick weekend escape."
