A delightful place to stay! Friendly, helpful staff, relaxing lobby, very comfy beds, clean rooms, quiet location but close to the prettiest spots in Gion. A++++
We stayed here 4 nights and it was wonderful. Good location to use as a base and getting around was easy on the subway and trains. Staff are very helpful and kind.
The lounge was lovely and the coffee machine was great. Also, small and very delicious baked goods were provided - not a real breakfast, but enough to accompany the coffee.
The rooms were just spacious enough for two people with small luggage. The location was superb. All major sights were easy to reach and Gion at night is just beautiful.
This was such a great hotel location! Great for solo travelers and the room was exactly what I needed for 3 days. So many cute shops and restaurants near by, so close to Hanamikoji and the main shopping area. Loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it to travelers in Kyoto!
A beautiful boutique hotel located just about a five minutes walk from the Gion historic geisha district. Room was large and extremely clean. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and speak English. I would recommend and stay here again without a doubt.
I really enjoyed my stay at Rinn Kyoto Gion Shinbashi. The location was perfect for exploring Kyoto, especially Gion. It’s within walking distance of Gion-Shijo Station and close to so many beautiful areas, restaurants, and convenience stores.
The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after long days of exploring Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
I especially loved being able to walk around Gion early in the morning when the streets were still quiet. Such a beautiful area to stay in and very convenient for getting around. I would definitely stay here again!
Very nice room, more spacious than expected! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the laundry on site, as well as the pitchers for ice and water. Great location as well!
Nice hotel with good WiFi and free coffee. The rooms are small/cramped, but I think that’s just what you tend to get in Kyoto from what I’ve heard. The location is hard to beat, there’s probably 100 restaurants (not an exaggeration) within a 5 minute walk and the train stations are an easy walk.
