The staff is very friendly and speak English. The hotel room came with a free wifi smartphone, which you can use to navigate around Kyoto and look up restaurants and locations. It was convenient to wash clothes in our room and dry them in the shower room. The front desk staff was fluent in both Chinese and English and offered helpful tips. The staff were really friendly and spoke good english. The room is quite large for Japan standards. It comes with a kitchenette which we only used to boil water. Also has a washing machine plus they provide the washing powder. The bathroom has a hot air drying function which means your wet clothes dry within 3 hours. The wifi was good. the price was very good.
