"Hotel was really good, brilliant bakery, good laundry services and location was good. Really enjoyed the rooftop bar shame it rained so the bar had to close. We ate dinner a couple of times and the food was excellent."

"Lovely stay. Great location. Very clean and quiet. The staff is wonderful. The only issue I would mention is their restaurant has a very limited menu and it’s mostly Italian Pasta. They should look into offering a better variety for health conscious customers."

"Beautiful property. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was extremely gracious and helpful and most spoke okay English. Food was atrociously expensive (we ordered half a sandwich and fries (about 15), and a cup of coffee (no refills) and it came to about $40 USD. Breakfast buffet was 5,000 yen. A cup of coffee was 1,500 yen, or about 7 USD."

"Travelled with my wife for the first time to Japan; for the price, we were impressed. Room felt a little crammed at times but was manageable. Staff was extremely friendly and ensured we were comfortable. Room had air conditioning and the bed/pillows were more comfortable than my own. Close to Kyoto Station which saved us time and energy which you would need to travel any places you planned to visit/hike. Would stay here again."
