"My girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights in June. It was inviting, clean, and had plenty of room for all six of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. We would absolutely recommend and return!"

"We had a wonderful time staying here and the location was perfect. The little Wild Plum shop a few steps down the path was a hit for the kiddos. The place was super clean and well-equipped for everyone. We loved the rooms being downstairs as it was nice and cool for the summer. We even saw a mama and baby moose right outside our front door. Would definitely stay here again and think it could also be perfect for a winter ski stay. "

"My family and friends had a wonderful time at the North Star Lodge. Truly a stunning location, just minutes from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. "The cons: washing, drying and folding bed linens, bringing the trash to the local firehouse dumpster, owner’s insistence on receipt of a signed rental agreement before he will send the door code (even if you must go out of your way to send it on your vacation). Also the bathroom in the main bedroom has a tiny shower that will soak the floor if you are not careful in aiming the shower head away from the shower door on getting in. The furnace sounds like a locomotive in the middle of the night...

"From early communication with the rental team, to the actual stay at this beautiful home, our experience was amazing. I had lots of questions, each of which was answered quickly and with care and compassion. The house overlooks the beautiful valley of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. "Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home was perfect for our Rocky Mountain Park vacation. The pictures are very accurate. Super clean, wonderful home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hottub was great after hiking (or after not hiking!). Nice to have a garage to park in. We even saw a cow moose and her calf outside. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again. Thanks to the owners for opening up their home to us."

"Well equipped kitchen - small appliances, dishes, silverware were plentiful. Can opener needed as the only one we located didn’t work. Very small outdoor back patio, BBQ worked well. Spaces all as noted in listing, could use more blankets but nothing negative. Re rating of property manager, we received instructions via email and didn’t have any problems so no other communication occurred. "

"This home was beautiful! Very well stocked and comfortable. We especially loved that each of our 3 couples had private bedrooms with their own bathroom and even their own floor! The location is absolutely beautiful tucked into the aspens and pines, super quiet, and was very convenient to get downtown or out for a hike. We totally enjoyed our stay!!"

"The property was very nice and everything was as described in the listing. The only difference might be what they consider ski/out versus what we thought. Basically the property is the same distance from the base as the close parking lot. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean, and there was good amenities for kitchen and bathrooms etc. We would stay here again."

"This hotel is a bit quirky, but nicely updated while keeping a bit of a nod to the past. I like the color choices they used to update the outside of this 70's looking building. The room was clean and quiet with good views, and the beds are super comfy. The large back yard area near the pool and gym is a nice level place to play or relax without feeling encroached upon by neighboring properties like other resorts. It is not a posh resort, but a pleasant place to stay especially for the price. "
