"I had the privilege of talking to the owner and the manager. They were friendly and open to suggestions. With regard to Fernie British Columbia finding a good hotel at a reasonable price is a challenge. This hotel for people who care about their budget is an excellent option. The owner has invested in the comfort of his guests such as new beds. The floors were clean and an excellent condition. The fact that there's no carpet in the units can mean a little bit noisier if you are on the bottom...

"The cleanliness, the quality of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff was well above what you would expect from a motel. I was very happy to stay there. The only downside is the railway outside the door. You sometimes wake up to the sound of heavy diesel locomotives accelerating in front of the motel. But that's only a small drawback, I would still recommend the accommodation to others "
