Paddle to the Beach from a Secluded Riverfront Eden-A/C-Central to Hanalei&Ke'e

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay at the River Estate! The house is spotless, well-appointed, and as described. It's a great place to use as a home base for exploring the north shore, which is recovering incredibly well from the most recent hurricane. We loved being just a short drive from Hanalei, while being able to escape to the quiet at the end of the day. Highly recommend this location!"

Paddle to a Secluded Beach • Experience Old Hawaiʻi • 50+ Year Local Expert Host

10/10 Excellent

"Celebrated my birthday with a lovely stay at the river estate. We enjoyed celebrating the charming old Hawaiian feel of the home. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The bedroom ac’s were awesome. Perfect for chilling out, cooking on the bbq and relaxing with great friends. The sound of the river and views of the mountains and scenery out the expansive windows are wonderful. The house has lovely light. We really appreciate Mark working with us after the hurricane to make our visit possible and to maximize our short stay with an early checkin and late checkout. Always provided responsive communication. Love the Haven coffee house being in walking distance and the nearby beaches too. Great location for being on the beautiful North shore."

Hallor House: Breezy Hideaway Near Tunnels & Na Pali Trail

10/10 Excellent

"A very nice property on a quiet cul-de-sac. Parking is limited in this area, so good to have that included on the property. Although this place is near Haena and the Na Pali Coast this does not guarantee admission on foot or by car. Make sure you check out the website that allows you access to Haena - you should look at that a month in advance of your stay if you can. You can pick up the shuttle bus to Haena from outside the nearest store/coffee shop rather than driving back to Hanalei - but this is not a cheaper option. The beaches around the property are beautiful, but I actually found it easier to access the middle of Tunnels beach by walking on the road to a different dirt lane - it can be a slog through the loose sand otherwise. There are shops nearby in Hanalei to buy fresh fish and the like, but there are several one lane bridges so it takes about 20 mins. We also enjoyed the chickens and other birds around the property, as well as the lizards and the donkeys that seemed to escape from their enclosure and show up to check out the neighborhood. Host was very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend if you don't mind being a little out of the way - which suited us fine."

Kauai Tree House - Nestled Along a Stream with Tropical Surroundings.

10/10 Excellent

"This is a great property full of little thoughtful things that make your stay memorable and comfortable. We had six people and the three bedrooms with all king size beds, access to their own balconies, and windows galore was the best part about this place. The calm and peace that comes with the space is special. There are nature’s alarm clocks (roosters, dogs) that you will certainly hear in the mornings, but we were for the most part unbothered and able to return to sleep. However, to some, it may be a “nuisance “. So make note of that and expect it when you stay. The vibes and the aloha definitely succeed any occasional noise. There are some harmless little bugs that do get into the home. The windows are open and you’re in the jungle by a stream. Expect it. No harm done and nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay. Close to stop many beaches and little areas to shop, pick up ice and groceries, alcohol within about 11 minutes. Close to the Ha’ena state park. The host was easily reachable via text and available and accommodating. I can’t express more how much we enjoyed our and we will definitely be back! A hui Ho!"

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect little piece of paradise! We absolutely loved our stay here. The home, location, and overall experience were wonderful, and everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for.The only small thing I’d suggest would be providing coffee and filters that fit the coffee maker—it would be a nice touch, especially for that first morning. Other than that, everything was perfect. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!"

Nohonani - a 1br/2ba home with mountain views in Wainiha

10/10 Excellent

"Can’t really put into words how incredible this property is- The screened in porch overlying the mountains was probably my favorite. It’s super close to Waipa/Haena state park, Wainiha and Hanalei. Our favorite beach was Tunnels in the morning. The bed is comfy and soft. There is a DVD player with Jurassic Park- we enjoyed coming home to watch this movie after long hikes, all with the backdrop of what looks like Jurassic park out your windows. We loved it and recommend it highly!"
