"Overall the property is nice and close to the beach but not on the beach. Just a short walk through Hurricane Moe’s parking lot. The hotel is updated and very clean. The pictures of the pool are misleading. The pool is not very big. The housekeeping crew was great! Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Overall a great price for the hotel. Hard to stay in a hotel without a kitchen, but great for a shorter stay. "

"The house was great, plenty of room for all 8 of us plus two dogs. Pool was nice when we needed a break from the beach.Public parking for the beach was just a minute away. Owner was helpful with answering any issues/questions we had. "

"Nice, clean home that is well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised that the backyard pool had gates with gates or doors with locks so little kids could not get back there unattended, I really appreciated that. I wouldn't say it's walkable to the beach however it's a very short drive, like 2 minutes and the beach entrance has parking spots. "

"The house has been completely remodeled since my family and I stayed there last year and the owners did a great job. It is in a convenient place on the Outer Banks to reach the ocean, stores and restaurants. Being on one street back of the old beach road makes it a quiet location in a residential area."
