Very good

Clean and quiet home. Comfy beds & easy to get to Portsmouth & other areas.
Home just as pictures show.
Amenities included coffee, filters, limited spices, a few laundry pods (much appreciated!) and plenty of regular household items (trash bags, etc).
Great stay over all!
Overall our stay was great. The house is well located at the end of a quiet street. Close to many seafood restaurants (by car). Small little note, we noticed there were rodents (probably squirrels) in the attic because we could ear them when in the bathroom.
If this rodent issue would have been fixed, I would have given a 5 star.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the deck and firepit. One main thing kept this from being a higher review. Communication was a problem. We received several emails and texts for check in and check out and all that went smoothly... but we had a fire or carbon monoxide alarm go off for a short time around 11pm one night. I contacted the Vacasa number and they said they were letting the "local staff" know and they would contact me. The local staff never contacted us to check in on the situation. Fortunately, it wasn't a big problem since the alarm never went off again, but the lack of follow up from the host was a concern.
Cure place but safety concerns and inaccurate description.
Let me start by stay the inside of the home was clean and quaint. The lawn outback was nice. The picture of the living room is accurate and that is about it. There were several concerns with this home. My most important one is the door knobs on 2 of the bedrooms and the bathroom did not work. Our 13 year old grandson got stuck in the bathroom first thing. The handle on the door turned to latch but just spun when he tried to open the door. Big fire safety hazard! Secondly the door knobs to two of the bedrooms were the same way as well as the closet doors in the bedrooms. The one bedroom door knob was literally falling off because the door was broken and rotted. It was just hanging. This bedroom also had no working ceiling fan. I texted Vacasa. I sent pictures of the broken door knobs and shared my safety concerns with them. I received a call leaving a voicemail. I returned the call. Never heard from them again until they wanted a review. There are so many issues with this cute place that could be an easy fix if property managers did there job.
Also no dishwasher. The fire pit is not as shown and the back porch was dirty. The lake view is a slit between the overgrowth behind the home. Very inaccurate listing.

Great Weekend Getaway
Perfect property to bring your dog along for a long weekend, great location close to the water and the main shops of Kittery.
Super cute property! I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely try to return in the future. We moved our eldest up to Kittery so the location of the house was perfect. Very quiet, located at the end of a cul de sac which was also perfect for parking the trailer we had with us. We actually didn't spend a huge amount of time at the house but it was a great place to rest our heads at the end of long days of moving furniture! Quiet, clean and well appointed.

Great for a Quick Getaway
The main living area and bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the home met our needs for a short stay. Some of the outdoor spaces felt a bit worn and could use some refreshing, but overall we had a pleasant experience. The Vacasa team were available and ready to help!

Comfy Home in a Quiet Neighborhood
This was the perfect and quiet home base for my wife, my dog, and me as we explored this part of Maine and New Hampshire. The house, back porch and back yard are spacious and clean.
Stayed 3 nights in Kittery in this remodeled old home. Gave some feedback to Vacasa Rental Agency about improvements that could be done—but overall we didn’t expect much knowing that Kittery is an old town. I would not stay here with younger than 5-6 yo kids. Otherwise we had a nice time exploring the Maine Coast with the house as our base camp.
Great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. House is just as described. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Would visit again for sure.

Dog friendly, large deck. Convenient to areas of southern maine and NH. Walking path along creek. Timely response by management. Not a great value. Not easily walkable to town. Overall upkeep is limited. Needs TLC. Wouldn ’t rent again.
A wonderful property - quiet and serene with a large fenced backyard. House is well maintained and near kittery and portsmouth.
Only problem is the front door lock. It needs immediate replacing. My wife was inside and noticed that the locking mechanism would not turn even though the proper code was entered. The hidey key worked but was still difficult to use.
We arrived at a run down property, trash in driveway, all windows opened and a terribly strong aroma coming form the house. We called Vacasa immediately to tell them we could not stand the smell. we were assured a quick phone call which still has not come. I called, texted, emailed multiple times and vacasa kept saying they were waiting for a "local manager". VRBO staff even tried to assist. I need a full refund as we never stayed there. We had to drive and call around for hours to find a reasonable place to stay and wasted hours of vacation on this issue.

Underwhelming
Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with this house. The pictures of the listing make it look a lot nicer than it actually is (the pictures make it look new but the house is older and could use a lot of work). It seemed clean enough when we got there, but there was also a large pile of trash building up on the side of the house that animals were starting to get into. As another review mentions, the toilet was really frustrating; we needed to fill it manually with water to get it to fill and flush at times, and there's only 1 bathroom so that made things worse. Location is alright but we did feel a bit removed from a lot of the restaurants and places to visit. We originally booked a 2 night stay but ended up leaving after the first day and got a hotel room in downtown portsmouth. Overall, we would not stay here again. It could be a good option if you have pets since the backyard is fenced in, but I dont think I would recommend it outside of that.

Toilet wasn’t working
One bathroom and the toilet wasn’t flushing or filling properly. The water was actually shut off to toilet which took us awhile to figure out. After opening back of toilet ourselves and jiggling things we could get it to work but had to do it each time. Vacasa offered to move us but we were still waiting on a friend to arrive from a distance. I was told we would be compensated for 1 night and someone would come the next day to fix it. No compensation or even any reply from Vacasa still. We were told someone came next day while we were out but felt we’d fixed it well enough by 1 am ourselves.
There were also several animals living in the attic and very active all night long.
If not for these things the place was generally ok but we were glad to be there only 2 nights.
The house next door is not under their control but totally abandoned looking and creepy.
