My Old Kentucky Home Cabin

This Kentucky cabin get away is perfect for escaping the city lights and enjoying nature the way it was intended. Located in the heart of Hart County, KY, our secluded spot offers a true, rustic log cabin experience. Mammoth Cave National Park, a fantastic day trip, is 30 miles away. Also near by is Horse Cave, Kentucky Down Under, Dinosaur World, Nolin Lake, and the Corvette Museum.

Lynn Camp Launch, on the historic Green River is owned by the Wells family. This canoe/kayak rental and shuttle service is located 2 miles (5 min. Drive) from the cabin. Spend a day fishing or leisure on the most picturesque river central Kentucky has to offer. The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The kids were sad when we left, they loved the toys and books at bedtime. Upstairs bed was super comfy! Everything was clean and in working order.I enjoyed reading the guest books!

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! It was just what we were looking for. We woke up seeing deer, turkeys and a family of groundhogs in the yard daily. It was very peaceful! We loved exploring the caves. Lincoln museum. Day trip to Nashville. Kayaking the green river and ziplining. Thank your for opening up your home!

This property is amazing! It is so quiet and peaceful. Everything you could need and more. We loved our visit. We went to Bowling Green, Horse Cave, and Mammoth Cave. Very convenient if you don’t mind driving 20-60 mins. The owner, Todd, is fantastic to work with as well.

Great Location
Great little cabin with plenty of room for everything. If youre looking to be away from it all, this is the place to stay! Still within driving distance to to places like Mammoth Cave and Lincoln historical sites. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay, if you away from the hustle of the city, this is the place to go. A family of groundhogs are living close to the house, we watched them each morning while sitting on the porch. Also, a turkey is staying close to the cabin, we saw her multiple times. Would stay here again

Perfect Getaway
This property did not disappoint! From the beautiful cabin to the property views everything was perfect. I travelled with my dog and she equally enjoyed herself! Beautiful, serene, cozy and comfy
Had a weekend with my college roomie. We just stayed on the property and enjoyed the fireplace, firepit, and gorgeous surroundings. We had everything we needed to whip up fantastic meals. Beds were very comfortable, good water pressure in the shower, and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. We heard owls and a pack of coyotes...just incredible!

Peaceful getaway
This was a great secluded getaway for our family. The kids were able to play outside in the sprinkler (we happened to stay during a heat wave). We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. We cooked each meal and enjoyed just slowing down and spending time together as a family. The cabin had everything we needed and we were directed to a grocery store for our meal supplies. Thank you for being such great hosts!

This cabin was a great place to stay during our family vacation. A nice country setting that provided a relaxing stay. Our kids said this was the best place we stayed on our entire vacation! Made for an easy drive to various sites in the area.

A Quiet Getaway
Deep in the heart of Kentucky, we had a nice quiet stay at this VRBO. It has a nice spacious kitchen and living room area as well as many different sleeping areas for people to spread out. We felt right at home during our stay.

Great get-away
Rural, secluded log cabin in the country. Comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, nice amenities, friendly, responsive host. We stayed for a week and took day trips to Mammoth Cave (about 50 minutes away --- the boys enjoyed the Trog Tour), Lost River boat tour (about an hour away), Corvette Museum and Historic Rail Museum (also an hour away), among other things. We made smores in the fire pit and enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. There were family games to play and the boys enjoyed the toys and nerf stuff. Thanks for a lovely stay!
