The place was super clean and the host was polite and helpful. One little problem is that for standard double room, the toilet locates on the ground floor so you need to travel downstairs when you need to use it.
We like its closeness to the sites we wanted to see.
The room is big, tidy and clean. Location can be easily accessed by bus. Only 2 bus stops to Aeon Mall. A super excellent to stay if you participate in the Kyoto Marathon, it is right beside the starting point.
This is a hostel, not a hotel. It has limited shared bathrooms and kitchens, the walls are paper thin and it is expensive for what it offers. It is clean and there was a well meaning, helpful manager.
