Just a short 3 minutes' walk from the JR station. There is a convenient shop nearby and one JR stop will bring you to Kyoto Station where you can connect to the other parts of Kyoto. The hotel is very clean and staff are very helpful. The hotspring is comfortable, with 5 private onsens and 2 public onsens to cater to all needs. There are additional perks such as welcome drinks, snacks, ice-cream and lamen available every day. The room is spacious and well equipped, with hair-dryer, fridge and safe and also choices of pillow. Bed is comfortable, aircon is strong and water pressure is good. The breakfast has a large variety and delicious, with lots of items includes rice, noodle, fish, meat, vegetables, eggs, soup and many others. The hotel is clean and tidy, great service, and I really like the private baths that I can share with my family instead of strangers in public bath, and the wait was reasonable. The breakfast was good, more Japanese style options which are what we wanted. The Kaiseki dinner was good, though I had more delicious ones elsewhere before, still good value for money and nice experience overall. Staff were friendly and the location was very handy to get around from.
