"Beautiful hotel off the beaten path but not too far from town. Loved the private feeling from taking a boat ride from the very nice private pier to the hotel. The entire staff consistently went way above and beyond to take care of us. The food was incredible as well. Id give more stars of possible. Thank you for the incredible stay!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay, with the highlights being a beautiful setting and helpful and friendly service. The hotel staff was able to arrange transport to La Plantacion and the Phnom Penh airport and even offered us a very late checkout (unprompted), so we could shower and rest before departing for an overnight flight. Thank you to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay. "

![Kampong Trach is roughly a 2 hour drive south from the hustle and bustle capital city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Once I you cross into Kampot Province the landscape is inspiring and your mood changes quickly. You’ll be driving through mostly rice fields with (depending on season) the lushest of green with backdrop of hills dramatically jets out from the earth in all randomness. One can’t help but want to stop to explore these unique hills. "This is a charming hotel in the middle of Kampot, and everything you need is within walking distance. The building is the conversion of two former shops. The room was a good size and comfortable, with a wash basin in the room and separate shower and toilet. It was two floors up and no lift — be warned. Our room also had a roof terrace, a great boon. There was a very good choice of freshly made breakfast, with the addition of home made cupcakes and biscuits as well as a plate of fruit. What really makes this place special is the hosts, Tavi and Kim. Both speak excellent English and are very helpful in arranging drivers for tours and recommending places to eat (including the excellent nearby café Le Corner, which they also run). The hotel also boasts a good book swap. "

"Lovely spot in a quiet area. Nice view of the sea, great pool to use. Enjoyed the balcony. Air conditioning was nice and cold. The shower was hot. The WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was nicely done - fruit and coffee and choice of entree (pancakes or crepe or omelette or fried egg or fried rice or a few other things). Room was clean. Shirt walk to a beach or restaurants. Would happily stay again. "
