Jones Falls Defensible Lockmaster's House Tours and Activities

This is such a fantastic place to stay outside Ottawa. We stayed here during a trip to the Nordik Spa which is conveniently located very near by. The motel is situated in the quiet and serene hills while still being close to transport routes. Parking is convenient and room is filled with character as well as modern and comfortable touches. I'm not sure there is a nicer bathroom in a motel anywhere. I have no complaints about this motel and can't wait to stay there again. I highly recommend as a unique, independent, and fun option and alternative to Ottawa, especially if visiting the Nordik spa.

Great spot lovely food. We were not aware that we would have to pay extra to use the sauna and hot tub and not included in the booking like every other hotel. Also, the cabana booking should not be the same amount for hotel guests and outside pool guests. We had a friend come for an hour and we had to sit in the parking lot or pay 55$.

We had a great stay. Beautiful area with lots to do. The cottage was charming and exactly as advertised
