"Bed and pillows super comfortable. Everything in brand new condition. Spacious bathroom and shower. Staff was pleasant especially the woman working the front desk upon checkout! Very nice! Location is perfect for shopping at the outlets, visiting Myrtle beach, and Coastal Carolina university. My complaints are: rug wasn’t vacuumed in my room AND 2 employees speaking poorly of a customer which I thought was unprofessional. With that being said, I’ve stayed at several hotels the last 4 years in South Carolina and this was great! Will stay here again."

"I was immediately struck by the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke in the lobby. And there was a large warning sign on the building stating it was uninhabitable (with handwriting on the sign saying "the 3rd floor"). I checked in, and when I went to my room (supposedly non-smoking) it smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I started coughing. The door frame had visible damage to it, from likely being kicked in - and you could see the light from the outside streaming in the doorframe. There was paper stuck in the lock since it appeared to have been recently broken. Just all around terrible, I instantly realized that if I had no other hotel options, I would prefer to sleep in my car over this room. The staff was wonderful, and offered me another room but since I didn't feel safe there, and couldn't tolerate the smell, they only charged me for 1 of the 2 nights I had booked."
