The room was clean and redone daily. The resort was beautiful inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate at two of the restaurants on the property. Food and presentation was wonderful.

The hotel needs updating badly. If it wasn’t the only one in town we would not have stayed. The hallways smelled musty and the carpets were old and a trip hazard. There was black mold in the bathroom, and the couch was actually peeling. The breakfast was fine but the cafe staff was rude and they actually had signs telling guests they couldn’t take plates back to their rooms if they didn’t want to eat in the empty and musty dining room.

The fact that the bedroom was a separate space with a door from the “living room” area was a fantastic feature that I wish all hotels offered. We were able to have a great time in the living area and have a separate space to sleep. The room did have a musty odor upon arrival but with the a/c on when we returned the smell dissipated. The sheets had a stain on it, I am assuming it was washed but a left over stain which was off putting but I understand it can happen. There was a stain on couch but again it happens. Overall really good stay. They had breakfast included which is always a plus along with free onsite parking. It is about 20 min from Lake Geneva which is great and had bars close by which was fun.
