"The view was amazing. The water was crystal clear. The staffs were friendly. Super easy to swim in the ocean. Just didnt see any fish. Our butler Sue was amazing and super helpful. "This is a nice place. The over water Grand Villa was perfect, with two large bedrooms, two large bathrooms and a living room in between them. The sundeck was cool. It had a private pool, a net above the water and some daybeds for relaxing. It also had direct access to the ocean via a private staircase. The Grand Villas are at the end of the row of over water villas, so we choose to have a floating breakfast delivered to us every day which was great. The food at the Firedoor restaurant was good and the views of marine life below you as you dine were fun. This resort has a large natural coral reef and the snorkeling was amazing. This place offers good value for money compared to other resorts in the Maldives. I recommend it."

"The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about."

"Fantastic resort. Close enough to Male for yacht transfer, far enough away to not see it and to have a decent reef. Accommodation is excellent, restaurants were great, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even more so than the standard you would generally expect in the Maldives. Not sure I can find a negative to report, we enjoyed every minute of our stay."
