"Absolutely loved this place! We opted for a waterfront room and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the river from the tables inside and outside. It's so peaceful and calm - no excess noise, from the road or elsewhere, etc. We opted to stay an extra day to soak more in. Otherwise, the shower was fine, the bed was fine, the room came with a fridge and microwave, chairs, and a superb staff who went out of their way to be certain everything was "set" for us. Breakfast had plenty of options for pretty much all taste buds and diets - along with a staff member being sure all was well there. Great location with a short drive to Prescott or Brockville for restaurants and more. Would we stay here again? Definitely! If we had more time on this trip we'd have added more than an extra day!"

"Our room was very clean and the bathroom was also clean. Most most important to us. We had a fridge which was a nice option. Coffee was in the room but the hotel had a nice breakfast including boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, breads, muffins, juice and a nice coffee machine that offers a variety of hot beverages. Would stay here again without hesitation "

"Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy. We cooked using the barbecue and kitchen, and enjoyed! The game room was a hangout space for my kids and as an extra nice touch the house has some other indoor activities for children which my little ones loved. We hope to come back!"

Not so good: Problem with stairs given our ages and knee woes. No reliableTV service. No list of instructions or of nearby eating places. FInal choice was made due to Internet listing declaring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unhappily, one bathroom non-existent."
