"JVI came as advertised, a cozy rustic New England Inn. Good restaurant and bar w/ live music on a Thursday night, 4 miles from Jay’s base areas. Having the well stocked Counrty Store across the street is a bonus! Hot tub and sauna are nice extras for a very reasonable price! We will be back."

The kitchen was well equipped and the location is perfectly situated near Newport and only 30 minute from Jay Peak. Everything was spotless and comfortable and the lake views were amazing. "Great Layout. Bedroom is pretty squished with the full bed taking most of the floor space. Water pump is quite loud when in the bedroom. But there is lots of other space. Comfy bed. Comfy seating. Everything you need in kitchen. Place was quite clean. Perfect for a couple. "

"Rooms are clean and rustic, common areas are great for larger groups to socialize. Shared bathrooms were clean and we had the wing to ourselves so our party had more than enough amenities. Fridge, microwave, sink, coffee supplies in shared kitchen. Recommend bringing in bottled water. Attached Bistro was wonderful - great food / bar / staff. A really great rural VT experience! "
