This is a "self-check-in" lodge in the woods, easy to miss the dirt road leading to the property. The property does not have a sign saying "Hideaway lodge", it simply has the house number labelled "private property". You simply go in the lodge, at the appointed check-in time (NOT earlier!... of course the door in unlocked). Guests receive email with instructions but we did not get an email so we just showed up hoping someone will help us. The cleaners were very nice enough to help us. We enjoyed our stay. The place is very clean and comfy. We shared bathroom with the room next to us but no big deal. We had issues with the gas stove on our 2nd night but the ownner was quick enough to send a repair guy. Besides, there was a back up electric stove top available. Kitchen was well stocked. We were allowed to cook our meals as long as we cleaned up. The cleaners came everyday to clean bathrooms and replinesh supplies. We stayed for 3 nights and have no complaints.
