Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. « We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. « Living on Long Island for most of my life, and only really seeing stars once before, 33 years ago, I finally got to REALLY see stars again. We all had an amazing time. So much to see on the property that we hardly scraped what can be seen. I would need a real good ax and a month to get a good scope of the property. There was a nice spot to shoot too. « Our family of 4 had a wonderful week at the cabin! The lake access right outside was a constant form of entertainment for us. The area around the dock was sandy which was great for swimming and using our floats. We enjoyed taking out our paddle boards and used the canoe and kayak that was stored in the back. Sunrises were gorgeous with a front row seat in late July. Perfect spot to enjoy the Great Pond! »
