"Loafer’s Lodge was everything as described but better! Well-appointed with all the creature comforts of home made our family feel welcome. The mudroom is spacious, heated & included boot/glove dryers so our gear was dry & ready every morning as we headed out the door to the slopes. The open floorplan including the living/dining/kitchen area is terrific for a large crowd or intimate family gatherings with views of the trails at Sugarloaf! "I was a little skeptical about a shared bunk room, but the place ended up being wonderful. The property is very new and nice, bathroom was perfect, everything felt clean and new. The staff (Justin) was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. I was there for Sugarloaf marathon and they provided us a pasta dinner and late checkout for all of us. "

"Great location close to Kingfield but out on a back road for nice woods romps for the dogs. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable for our group of four adults and three kids."

"The accommodations were perfect and the owner was very responsive. We stayed for the night before sugarloaf marathon, which was a perfect location near the sugarloaf base lodge. It seems like it would also be a perfect location for skiing in the winter. Thanks Jill!"

"Was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a gathering. BUT hot tub overheated once and was 111 (WAY too hot to get into), and it kept tripping the breaker so had to keep resetting it. Also departing conditions says to put trash in dumpster. Couldn’t find a dumpster anywhere on the property or road, ended up having to bring it home in a car. But over all was a great place to stay. May go back again with family. Was beautiful and just want 6 mommas needed for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. "

"Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place."
