The central restroom facilities offered men's and women's sides with 2 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls in each. Esjan was well located between Borgarnes and Reykjavik. »

Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt. »

« We were really excited to stay here, but there were multiple reasons we probably wouldn't again. The pictures make these tents looks like they are isolated. Instead they are located in a semicircle 10 feet each other, meaning there is not a lot of privacy and you will hear your neighbors' conversations. The path to get to our assigned tent was only partially cut, walking through 2-ft tall weeds. The screen material on our tent's entrance had a large rip and the zipper didn't work to fully close...

« The amount of detail and care put into the creation of this property is incredible. The yurt was cosy and welcoming. The owners were so kind, telling us about their wonderful chickens and letting us try to pet them. Communication was immediate and very understanding and professional. « We had an amazing 2 nights in yurt Freya. Rick was a thoughtful and friendly host who really made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The space itself is beautiful with many fun little touches, and we were extremely comfortable during our stay. The breakfast each day was also amazing.
