"We really enjoyed our time in our static bus. The views of the mountain were superb, and it was nice to be able to walk some way up the side of it, to about 150 m. I could have gone higher if I was suitably equipped. The bus itself was well equipped, though the kettle took a long time to boil. We planned our hot drinks well in advance. "Hotel Von is perfectly situated in downtown Reykjavik with everything within easy walking distance. The staff are wonderful and very helpful and all speak perfect English! It is on a busy pedestrian-tourist street but we did not have any noise issues and there are many parking options all around. There is a very cozy cocktail bar attached and next to the reception area which I highly recommend. I would definitely choose to stay here again!"
