"This is a lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood and tiny village. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well appointed, although we only used it for light breakfasts. We had fabulous weather, so we were able to enjoy the outside deck and sea air. There isn’t much to do in the village (but do visit the cute wool boutique with nice items a short walk from the house!). There’s a highly rated restaurant in the village, but we didn’t try it. However, Selfoss is less than...

"The barn house was a peaceful base camp for exploring the south coast. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The most well stocked property I have ever stayed at with cooking supplies, laundry, and bathrobes. The large window skylights, lighting, and infloor heating created a cozy place for our family to enjoy. Highly recommend!"

"Loved to stay in the Cabin! Great Location for the south area. The cabin is very comfortable and have everything you need. We just had a bit of trouble getting the hot water going and the pipes make a lot of noise while you use the shower, but other than that, we loved it here and would love to come back! "The schoolhouse was exactly what we were looking for with our large group with kids 2-6. Lots of space to play inside and outside. Good spot to explore the South of Iceland, close to the ocean as well as Selfoss. Fantastic smelling hand soap and a great Kitchen and dining hall to have meals in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had questions."

"This was the perfect spot for us to stay outside of the city. The house was spacious and well-equipped for all of our needs. There was breathtaking scenery all around us, three beautiful dogs that kept us company on the large outdoor deck. If you are looking for a quiet retreat to his place is perfect. It was close enough to Reykjavik that we also did all the tourist things. We would come again."

"Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. "Lovely vacation home with tons of amenities and beautiful views. The kitchen was topnotch and well stocked--tons of pots, plates and glasses. The hosts had even provided salt, pepper, sugar and coffee which was much appreciated. The bath towels were very new and very soft. Ample closet space throughout the home. There were even lots of board games for the kids. "
