"Location is perfect. Facing the main nanjing shopping street in Shanghai. If your room is right, you can see the front square and lots of landmarks. Staffs are extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we enter this hotel. Highly recommended."

"My stay was ok. The Horizon Club level most of the staff had difficulty communicating in English. It is not to the standards of a Shangri La hotel. "

"The hotel is located in an old skyscraper surrounded by a giant construction site. The only way to get proper view and reduce noise is to go out to the promenade (which is really crowded). The staff doesn't speak English, the security system in the hotel is much better than the guest service. "

"The hotel is a beautiful property but our room was not cleaned properly - crumbs were left by previous guests and were still there when we left after 2 nights (with maid services during our stay!). The temperature control for the shower also did not work well. The gym was small but clean. Breakfast buffer was a bit disappointing in terms of variety and quality."
