"The staff were all super!! They were friendly and helpful during the super crazy Kona storm which made several areas of the hotel wet and prevented some staff from even making it to work, but we were able to spend time enjoying the view from inside and being outside when it wasn't raining. You can hang out in the lobby after check-out and the shuttle drivers are friendly, too. "

"This starves absolutely awful. There was water dripping from the roof and coming in through the bottom of our door. The property was not prepared for the storm. The hotel was able to love us rooms. This room was terrible the carpet was wet the door wouldn’t even close it was so warped from water. The humidity increased and the rain stopped the room started to smell horribly. I could not wait to check out. I would not recommend staying here ever. We were also charged $40 a day for amenities that did not exist. "

"This is an excellent property for budget travelers. It has a hostel-like vibe with your own bedroom, fan, fridge, and closet. There are clean shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen, and great scenery with a retreat-like atmosphere. "

"My family of 4 really loved our stay here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Our room was so beautifully decorated and clean!! Loved our bathroom and how clean it was. Loved the full use of their kitchen; we had all the things we needed. The kids can’t wait to go back!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay.Check in was a breeze, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great. I also felt that the photos didn't quite do it justice. The lanai was a wonderful place to spend time, and the walkability of this location couldn't have been any better. I appreciated that there were condiments and Tupperware that we didn't have to buy, and there were little things like the soft close cabinets and toilet seat that sometimes we can take for granted. It was clean and it felt like we were staying with family. Thanks for the great experience! Obviously, i would highly recommend. "

"Parking was available at all times. Good restaurant on site with very reasonable prices for Maui. If you are looking for a resort with top of the line room service and amenities, this is probably not the place for you. I went to Maui to see Maui, not stay in a hotel room the whole time. We were there only about nine hours every night, just enough time to catch a shower and a good nights sleep. If you are this type of person, than this place is affordable, safe, and clean without breaking your wallet. I would definitely stay here again."

"Such a fun place!! Despite the crazy tropical storm that came through during our stay the staff was so friendly and helpful and kept everything going strong. Makenna made the most delicious chocolate chip pancakes both mornings and was a pure delight to visit with. Steven was extra helpful at the front desk upon our check-in. We didn't have any complaints about anyone or anything while we were there. Would highly recommend it and will definitely return.!!"
