« Pristine stay in an unbeatable Paia location I had a wonderful stay at Hale Nihi. The property was absolutely pristine, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with all of the amenities advertised. For me, though, the real standout was the location. You can easily walk to Mana Foods for groceries, as well as seemingly endless restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shopping in the heart of Paia. « Quiet neighborhood setting. Nice backyard for relaxing. Well equipped with beach accessories including snorkel gear. Large whirlpool tub and comfortable bed. Be prepared for carrying luggage to second floor. »

« The washer and dryer were advertised as free but I had to pay. They are quarter operated devices and quarters were not always available. I was instructed by the host to pay for use near the end of my trip. Located on a main road I became used to the noise after a few nights. »

« I had a great visit at the Historic Wailuku Inn. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, just as pictured, bright and very comfortable. The Inn is meticulously maintained, both inside and out. I spent many nights on the front porch, working or catching up on e-mail, and got to know several of the other guests. The staff are super friendly and are very quick to respond to any inquiry that I had. I am looking forward to my next visit to Maui and my stay at the Historic Wailuku Inn. »

« Start with the good. Location is excellent! Beach accessories were great. Condo has air conditioning & good beds. Check in was not good. We were given the wrong entry code, which didn’t come from the owner until 10:34 pm that night. Luckily we managed to contact the caretaker who gave us his entry code. « Check in is seamless with lock codes sent to email and through text before we arrived. The breakfast was delicious each morning and very convenient! We stayed during a tsunami warning and the chef provided a dinner option for everyone since all the restaurants closed in the area. Definitely an added perk to staying in a small historic inn! »
