Hotel info SAID " HOT BREAKFAST " I dont call toast A HOT BREAKFAST. I WASreally looking forward to sausage, biscuits / gravy !! Incorrect info on there little check in paper ! My Room needed the wallpaper fixed ( glued) and not a picture on a wall. Not a " good" stay like i had hoped.

Overall the home is beautifully restored and my stay was worth the price paid. The check in process was confusing (no voicemail or answer), but thankfully we connected as I arrived. I stayed in the Jane Austen room which had a private bath accessed in the hallway. The bathroom needs significant updating. The lock did not work so I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower, and other guests used it even though it was supposed to be private (water bottle left on toilet, toilet not flushed). Another guest was hosting a big party on the front porch when I arrived which was very awkward to navigate through back-and-forth from my car. I also suggest bringing eye covering because the room is bright at night. The Inn is not staffed which seemed strange for a bed & breakfast, and breakfast is only served on weekends. However Amy, the owner (?) was welcoming, the bed was comfy, and the air conditioner kept the room nice and cool. It was also conveniently located to the SBU campus.

This is an old, filthy, junky place. We disliked it so much that after we checked in, we just left and found a Holiday Inn to stay at.
