"It was a very cute place and well-maintained. Very quiet and cute little town… My wife loves antique stores and there are several and she says that they were well worth the trip. We were both impressed by the staff in the restaurant … very friendly, great service and good food! There are other restaurants in the town, but we ended up for the most part eating in the restaurant in the hotel. Bravo Zulu… We will definitely be back."

"We had a really wonderful stay at the Perkins House! My wife and I only spent a night here but the hosts were wonderful. Our stay was comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was great. Restaurants and shops were also an incredibly close walk to the B&B which was a great perk. We would absolutely stay again!"

"Beautiful and peaceful location, hosts were great with communication and greeted us with warm cookies! Expansive views of the mountains and distant lakes, we saw owls, a momma and baby porcupine and a friendly wild rabbit, and couldn't have asked for a better stay! Everything was clean and tidy, cozy and oh so comfortable, would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"Wonderful comfortable home that had everything we needed for our stay. Loved that each upstairs bedroom had their own half bath. So often there are not enough bathrooms to get the whole family ready. We also appreciated all the usb charging ports, very convenient to have next to the beds and the couch in the living room. "

"This is our second time staying at this lovely home and it was even more memorable with all my little ones. I was able to have wonderful star gazing with a fire going in the fire pit and had enough space for the kiddos to run around. The house was as described, clean and cozy. The lake was less than 5 minute away with kayaks and fishing equipment provided. Thank you to Susan and Raymond for the great hosting. "

"The property was immaculate and well maintained and reflected significant pride of ownership...all very positive and welcoming. Major disappointment was learning two days before our arrival of a suggestion to provide your own drinking water. Probably something that should have been disclosed in listing as it could be a factor in deciding to rent. Moreover, given this suggestion re drinking water, it would have been a very welcome gesture to have a gallon or two available at check in.Would also recommend addressing drainage in bathtub. It was very slow and required you to stand in shower water as you were showering...unappealing at best and possibly unhealthy at worst."
