Emerald Bay State Park is just 20 minutes to the south, filled with hiking trails, waterfront activities, and scenic vistas. You’ll be at Homewood Mountain Resort in 5 minutes, with runs lined with fresh powder for all ages and skill levels. Head north toward Tahoe City for evening entertainment and encounter numerous restaurants along the way serving up delicious local fare. There’s something to do any month of the year in this popular destination, and when you’re ready to retire for the evening, Tahoe Pines Cabin will be waiting to welcome you home! Fireplaces in every room will keep you warm and toasty as you gaze out the windows at the panoramic views of the forest. The main living room offers plush sofa and armchair seating along with a mounted smart TV for streaming all your favorite shows and movies. Plan accordingly if traveling during the winter months. We had to use ice melt which was sold at Ace Hardware nearby. The heaters in every room were great and having lots of firewood was nice.
