"The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home."

Tasteless and poorly prepared. Like it came from the fridge to perhaps the microwave in some cases and then to our table. "It's seen better days. Quality of the meals was disappointing. Room was spacious and clean but the property in general is tired and needs upgrading. It's a bit on the outskirts of the main part of Yamashiro Onsen but there's a bus stop across the street if you want to get into town. We took it to get to Yamanaka Onsen and to Kakusenkei Gorge."
