« Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. »

« Un grand merci au personnel de ce ryokan qui a tout fait pour nous accueillir comme convenu malgré l’absence de notre réservation. Celle ci nous avait bien été confirmée par hotel.com mais apparemment le nécessaire n’a pas été fait auprès de l’hotelier. Pour ce type de logement je ne peux que recommander de réserver en direct. Très joli cadre, logement spacieux, les,bains très agréables et les repas soignés. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement, nous y retournerons bien volontiers. »

« This is one of the best resorts you can possibly stay at. Everything is 10/10. It is all in one for everything you need. Note that the area it is in only has hotels for the most part, so it is difficult to get to a convenience store if you have no car. About an 8 minute uber which will run you about $20 USD round trip if you need something. Although often the resort has all you need. And they have bus service for free to the ski resort. I couldnt praise this resort more highly. »

« Room is spacious and very clean. It may have been a luxurious hotel but it is now running with little staff and decoration is a bit old-ish. The swimming pool is closed and has not seen water in ages. There are two onsen and they are both good. One is with a sauna and the other one is open air type.
