« I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

« Le lit est confortable. La salle de bain est bien, mais l'évier a peu d'espace pour ranger la brosse à dent, le matériel de rasage, etc. À deux, c'était difficile. La cuisine est séparée de la chambre, mais elle est bien équipée. La nuit, les grenouilles peuvent être bruyantes (mon épouse a eu du mal à s'endormir au début). »

« Great location and well stocked quirky and old-school funky apartment! Loved it, and was a perfect base for the three of us for a week in Hilo! Not a fancy place, but had everything we needed and was well stocked and had nice touches like a lot of plugs around! Nice and helpful host, too! Would stay again on a return trip! »

« Very small condo with very noisy neighbors. Only slept there one night as it was so noisy. We went to a friend’s place the first night. Second night wasn’t as loud and busy. Couple of dead cockroach on the floor. »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....
