"Always a great friendly staff and wonderful stay"

"Beautiful lake view and cafe/bar for breakfast and dinner."

"This is a Gem. Our room was very clean, small, cozy & very comfortable. We only stayed one night in this quiet little town and it worked out great for the wedding. Will stay here again if ever in the area. Beds were very much to my liking. Comfortably firm pillows also very nice. Wifi worked great & is much needed in this area. Bathroom is very well lit. Parking right outside the room makes for easy in & out. Thanks it was a great stay."

"It’s a basic hotel. The breakfast was adequate and I liked that they had both flavored coffee creamer as well as hard boiled eggs. The room was ok, but the bath towels are poor, very thin, so bring your own."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!"

"Nice room but the futon bed was tilting and not comfortable. Otherwise a good room and good value. Better for 2 people than 3."

"Great place"

"We had a very short stay but it was great from check-in to check-out. Great communication, extremely clean and very cozy. A true Northwoods experience!"

"Will definitely stay here again"

"Great location"

"The property was just what we needed for our weekend trip. Everything was nice and clean."

"Clean, comfortable, well furnished and roomy. Walkout access to the lake. "
