Overall the house was nice but could use a nice deep cleaning. When we arrived we did need to wash some of the comforters as there was a lot of hair and you could tell they were not cleaned. The sheets seemed to be ok. For those with littles - the house is not super infant/toddler friendly unfortunately. There are a lot of steep stairs and limited handrails. It was a bit scary by the lake as there is a big drop off in front of the boat house and no railing to block it. We also forgot a play mat for my 8 month old and it was all hard floors so there was not really any safe space to lay her down. They did have a high chair and that was very helpful! The communication with the host was wonderful and my family overall had a great stay. We also very much appreciate them allowing a camper so that our last minute guests could stay too. Each space had plenty of room for all of us to have a comfortable spot to sit--living area, dining area, patio and porch. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There was even a blow dryer in a bathroom. Plenty of towels were provided. The location was lovely. It is right on the lake and the view is beautiful. The leaves were changing, the stars were bright, and we even watched a storm come through. The only drawback we could find is the neighbors are very close. That was not an issue for us since they were very quiet, and we are not disruptive to others. This is just something to keep in mind if you are travelling with a different type of group. It was the perfect size for our group and the location was perfect. Beautiful view of the lake .
