"In the first room I was assigned, the shower was clogged and started filling up with water the first time I turned it on. And the room's door didn't actually lock - you could just push it open. It looked like it had been pried open previously. I asked for a change, and the staff quickly and kindly gave me a new room. The new room smelled terrible, but at least the shower drained and the door locked!"

"Valet guys were very nice, so was the woman who I checked out with. The room had a funny smell and everything in the hotel seemed pretty basic and nothing special. Surprisingly wasn’t too noisy for being in DTLA but there were a few homeless outside and rummaging through the garbage. Just a step up from a Motel 6 with a better location. Breakfast sucked and portions were small, wasn’t worth the money even with my 20% off discount. Probably wouldn’t go back."

"Breakfast is expensive. We found Cherry Pick on Hill Street to be a better option, about 1/2 mile away. There are lots of Asian restaurants, walk out the restaurant to the street and go right. Staff were nice. Room was ok."

"Had a seamless week-long stay at this lovely home in Highland Park. Charming, comfortable, clean and spacious rental for our family. Loved the outdoor spaces and great location near Eagle Rock and a short drive from Silverlake. Thoughtful and responsive host. We didn't want to leave and hope to stay again! "
