We had a wonderfully serene and relaxing stay! The Cabin was so comfortable! We had such a great time relaxing on the porch with our tea in the morning, and dipping into the hot tub in the evenings! Our dogs loved the creek and pond on the property! Our hosts were so friendly, responsible and available! They made us feel so welcome, and made sure we had a great time! We would not hesitate to stay again!!
Specious escape. I could have stayed here for a week with the family and be comfortable. Loved the pond, creek, and cabin set up. Very comfortable for a family of 7
Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what I wanted and needed. The only thing, which wasn’t really a big deal, the pond was listed as fully stocked. It was, but with tiny little baby fish about the size of baby minnows. Didn’t matter to us, but someone who wanted to fish might not like it. But it was very clean and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was away from the busy city. Peaceful place with many amenities to enjoy without even having to leave the property. We very much enjoyed our short trip away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life!
We had a very enjoyable stay. The cabin is equipped and very clean. The pond allows you to enjoy some Bluegill fishing while listening to the frogs sing. We strongly suggest this location.
We had the best time at this little cabin. We celebrated my friends birthday a couple girls. The cabin was clean, owner easy to get in touch with and very nice and the hot tub was just what we were looking for! We would definitely stay here again.
We spent a week at this lovely cabin. From there we explored the surrounding towns and truly enjoyed the leaf peeping and the serenity of the cabin upon returning from our adventures! We would definitely recommend this cabin for up to 8 people to enjoy!

The property was a wonderful secluded cabin in the woods! We had a fantastic time with friends and enjoyed the barbecue, fire pit, pond and hot tub!!
We loved this cabin so much. It was pet friendly, the kids loved the pond and stream and we loved the peace and quiet. The location is central to all of the wonderful small towns and there is so much to explore. We will definitely be renting with Carson Cabins again :)
We absolutely loved our time here! We enjoyed escaping and feeling like we were removed from the city while still being close enough to go and do things. The property had plenty of great spaces to enjoy I doors and outdoors. Everything was clean, well stocked, and enjoyable. Our communication with the owner was great as well! Would definitely book again!
Everything was as listed in this beautiful cabin. It was well stocked with everything we needed, even a starter for our campfire. The kids loved feeding the fish and making s'mores. The cabin is located not far from town which was perfect for picking up last minute items.
Visiting our daughter who lives in Covington. Wanted to spend some quality time with them and decided to rent a quit place out in the country. Glad we did had a great time and the kids loved fishing in the lake.
Weather was poor but we made the best of it and enjoyed the wood stove for cozy time in with movies. Visited the Downtown area for the Christmas decor. Nice location. Our teens fished while it poured rain , they didn’t care 😂.
Prime location for a quick getaway for the weekend. Close enough to all the things you want and far enough from the things you don’t. A quick trip to Atlanta if you want to explore the amenities of the big city and in the other direction, mountains, wineries, country living! Just a beautiful and quaint location for it all. The host was great with communication and a 5-star experience is truly earned! All I can say is, don’t miss the opportunity to experience this gem for yourself!
The property was just as described. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, sitting on the porch enjoying the quiet. The fish were not big enough to catch with a hook . It was ok my granddaughter loved feeding them bread. This will be our whole family vacation away spot. Thank youCarson Cabins for a great vacation.
Cozy cabin with everything you need for a getaway weekend including porch swing, creek, and a hot tub. Tin roof was an unexpected treat during thunderstorm. Great hosts who welcomed our three small dogs. Lots of acreage to roam and a huge leather sectional covered in our own sheets and pup blankets made everyone comfortable.
Welcome red branded mug gift with coffee pods was a sweet touch.
We will come again!
Charming cabin just 14 minutes from historic Dahlonega. The Christmas tree was loved by all as well as the most comfortable sofa! Lots of room for 5 people with pups. We didn’t get time to try the hot tub, fireplace or fire pits. We saw small fish in the pond. Our dogs loved exploring around the cabin. Owners very quick to respond to questions. We were here for a wedding and didn’t have enough time to really explore so we can’t wait to return! Thank you so much Mikyla and Jason!!!
Comfortable cabin in quiet and peaceful location close to Dahlonega.
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin and time in Dahlonega. It was too cold for my husband to do a lot of fishing but we enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the convenient location. The couch and beds were comfortable. The only negative was there was no dishwasher or TVs in either of the bedrooms downstairs. However, if you don’t mind that, you will enjoy staying in the cabin. It was very cozy and warm despite it being in the 20s outside at night.
This little cottage is stunning and is just as advertised. Our dog and son loved the pond and the big yard to walk around and explore. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day, and the big porch was great for sipping our coffee while watching our son fish in the pond. The house had plenty of room and was clean and inviting. The property owners were great to work with and very friendly. The location was perfect to downtown Dahlonega. We were in town to ride trails at Iron Mountain and the pull through driveway made it very easy for my husband to navigate our trailer and side by side. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to relax and unwind near the beautiful North GA mountains.
The 8 of us fit perfectly and truly enjoyed the cabin. The teens stayed in the canoe and tried their hand at fishing. They explored the creek and looked for gold. We picked this cabin for the outside activities. Our children ranged from 3 weeks- 16 years old. We had little snacks left and a cute coffee mug with Keurig coffee. Needed items were all there including many extras. The air did go out our last day there we tried to troubleshoot it but did have to leave one night early unexpectedly.
