Hartley Bay Vacation Packages

Did not get the room that I had originally booked and confirmed a month after my booking. The employee at the front desk was very apologetic and corrected the issue right away and the room was exactly what we expected which was very satisfying. The main floor area appears to be under renovation which it badly needs. Hotel parking is a bit confusing as there is no dedicated area or signage.

Its a place to stay. Nothing fancy. Just a hotel.

This property is close to the ferry and open to receive us at 1:00 am however, while our reservation was honoured, the reservation of our traveling companions was not. After booking months in advance to have a pet room, there was not one for them when they arrived. After much discussion and offering to pay substantially to have their pet in the room, they were denied. They had to leave their pet in the car overnight. To top it off, the staff lectured them both that night and in the morning about taking the dog to their room which they had never done. Turning the tables on who was at fault to their clients rather than taking responsibility for their mistake. The customer service in this place was nonexistent, rude, and unacceptable. While the property is older it was roughly maintained and the room was clean. We were only there a few hours. The breakfast was a typical motel breakfast.
