Price went up for long weekend, power went out, no generator, had to use bathroom and shower in the dark, no pool open, a/c not on because no power. Zero chance at getting a rebate/reduction in room due to spending $425 for 1 night and having no power for half our stay.

I stayed a year ago 3 days on the side close to the restaurant area that was closed. It was a wonderful stay but some inconveniences but were tolerable as the room was excellent & clean and a great view of the lake, the park and marina. This year we booked 4 nights as we had a great experience before. This year however the room was not as clean & was dirt on the floors in the hallway and washroom. The shower did not work very well either. The TV was the same as last year very poor & for the 1st two nights did not work at all. We asked for another room, but they were booked. They did go out of their way to fix the TV but we ended up with a USB cord & using my computer to watch movies. The coffee was in the lobby again same as last year despite coffee in our room which was terrible. There was no microwave in the room but one in the lobby which you had to line up to use. We will not likely come back now as you would think the hotel after a year would have TV's that worked properly and be a smart TV, not to mention have a microwave in the rooms as well. We also had our brother-in-law who has Cerebral palsy with us and for the most part the hotel was wheelchair friendly except for the swimming pool area. Our experience was not what we expected to be this year.
