Let me starr by saying how some of the other reviews are correct in saying some parts are indeed dated. However if your going to Budapest its probably to see old things so not sure why complaining about that is relevant. Hotel is clean rooms spotless fresh and staff very helpful. Every morning greeted with a smile in the breakfast room and at reception the same. Location is amazing only a few hundred metres away from the sites in either direction by foot. Situated even closer is access to the public transport system of trams and bus. These are so regular you couldnt literally have a cup of tea between them coming and going. My partner and i have no complaints regarding the Hotel its location or the food. If you are looking for a base to explore this beautiful city and starting each day well rested and fed then this certainly fits the bill. Thank you to all the staff there that made it so enjoyable.

Everything in all honesty was really good. Staff really helpful, the lady(red hair wish we'd asked her name)at breakfast made our kids packed lunch which was a life saver 3 hours later. So a huge thanks to her. The biggest let down was the later check in process. We did speak to the front desk in the morning and the explanation was details weren't readily available through Expedia when booking on Expedia. I can't see this being the case because correspondence before arrival via email, Expedia and phone. That should be streamlined somehow or the process to have an opt in option. Having that sprung on us at 10pm with two tired children on the street outside wasn't ideal. But we can take the good with the bad. Within that late check in process there should be also and option to request drinks put in as all additions (water, snacks, beer etc.) we're locked in a fridge. It'd be a nice touch to be able to request and pay for those to be in the fridge in the room on arrival

Helpful staff, clean room and a great restaurant attached.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and it’s our understanding that it has only recently opened. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t the best. When we arrived at our room, my girlfriend wanted to shower before our scheduled river boat trip. We realised there was no hairdryer in the room, so I asked a member of staff if one was available. He said he would go and get one for us. However, after waiting around 30 minutes with no update, I went to follow up and was then told there were none available. We weren’t informed of this sooner, which left us pushed for time before our boat trip as my girlfriend had no way to dry her hair. Shortly after, we also noticed there was no body wash or shampoo provided in the room. When I asked staff about this, I was again told there was none available. I then had to go out to a shop to purchase basic toiletries ourselves. Overall, the experience felt quite disorganised. While we appreciate that the hotel is newly opened and may still be finding its feet, it did not feel as though there was much effort made to resolve the issues or to ensure guests were looked after. We hope these are just teething problems and that improvements will be made for future guests.
