Spectacular location, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, kind owners. This little B&B and the surrounding area was one of the highlights of our trip to the UK.

Set in the backdrop of the stunning Wye Valley, this pub is steeped in history and splendour. Beautiful both inside and out. The pub (including food and beer) is exemplary, as is the accommodation, which appears to have been recently renovated to a very high standard. Breakfast (included) was excellent. Staff were outstanding. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The room was huge, had a fabulous bathtub and a lovely outlook, the food was great, the atmosphere was welcoming but the best thing was the people - the staff went out of their way to help me with all of my questions and requests and were just fantastic - it will be my place to stay every time I go to Newport from now on

The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We requested particular type of pillow and these were provided. Sheets and bed were great. Room was a bit on the small side and space for storing clothing was limited - could easily put a small chest of drawers in the corner by the window. Wash basin in the hallway was a bit inconvenient. Had a great stay and would definitely go back.

I loved my stay at the ANGEL. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spacious, bathroom beautiful. We had dinner there (fishermans pie) and it was fantastic. It definitely would come back and I will recommend to all. The cons were that we got woken up by some city workers stringing a banner across the road and this was at 5:45 am on a Monday morning!!! Do they not have bi-laws? We fell back asleep and then at 8:30 someone was washing the windows of our room. Why not wait until guests...

Great meals and helpful staff. Only difficulty is that it is in a rural location and I wanted to take a tour in Cardiff. So it cost some money for taxi and train to get back and forth.

Good boutique hotel in central location in Bristol. Historic building with welcoming atmosphere. Food in the restaurant very good, service staff could benefit from some training but very friendly. Would recommend and return.

Amazing hotel, lovely location near the Roman ruins. Rooms are small due to it being a former priory but well equiped and beautifully decorated in keeping with the place. Food was fabulous, staff were knowledgable , polite and helpful. Grounds were gorgeous , bar and outside facility to have drinks or coffee were also fabuloous. Couldn't falt it.
