Mill Lodge surpasses anywhere that we have stayed in before. Kelvin is an excellent and enthusiastic host. We had quite a few chats and put the world to rights!! Kelvin is also an excellent chef and we have never had such tasty cooked breakfasts. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the B&B and offered refreshment after a long journey. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast choices were superb. Best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and after we had attended a wedding ensured there was fresh milk for us to make a drink when we got back late in the evening. Thoroughly recommend. Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. The breakfast was picture-perfect, excellently prepared, and absolutely delicious with a wide assortment of options! The room and bath were 'squeaky' clean, attractively furnished, amply supplied, and spacious! I could go on and on, but by now you know that if we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay here again! We did not want to leave! They made us feel special - better than family! The room was excellent with a large wall mounted tv complete with streaming services. Coffee & Tea making facilities with a bonus packet of welshcakes. Nice large shower with nice toiletries. Breakfast was exceptional , we had full cooked with toast , orange juice , tea & coffee. Obviously quality ingredients cooked perfectly.
