« The home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely setting. Excellent coffee is provided. The kitchen has the basics for cooking but nothing for storage and no paper goods/spices so you literally need to bring everything you need. The stairs to the sleeping loft are tough. Very steep and you need to crawl to the beds but they are very comfortable! Regardless we would still return again. »

« The Stavrand is a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods just a few minutes walk from downtown Guerneville. The front desk and dining room staff were friendly and helpful. We brought kayaks, for which we were shown a safe place for storage. My disappointments were: (1) the swimming pool was quite cold, and the jacuzzi was not very hot and had no operative jets, (2) housekeeping did not come clean our room during our 2-night stay, and (3) the room, though lovely, had no real separation of bed...

« Great rustic house with a view of the river. Everything we needed for a family of 3 to enjoy a week lounging around and hanging out by the river. Found a pretty secluded beach just a 3 minute walk from the house. All in all a great place for a family vacation! »

« advance notice on checkin should be shared earlier. The property has poor wifi- could not connect at all. I had to leave the property to connect. I have two cell phones and neither one connected. Because of limited wifi connection, you should share advance checkin code to avoid these issues upon arriving. »

« There were 2 issues I had with my stay. I had to cancel the last day because of one of them. The hot tub was not usable. This is probably a short term problem and will be fixed quickly. Nonetheless, the reason I rented the property was because of the hot tub. The other problem I had was one I have with many places rented to many people. « The house itself was large, clean, and well maintained,and its in a great walkable location. That said, the exterior of the home was less well maintained. For instance there was an old mattress abandoned in the yard, there were lots of leaves that were not cleaned up, and the hot tub had a green residue and an off smell. I ended up cleaning it myself and adding a bromene tablet to the water to make it usable. The taqueria down the street played really loud mexican polka music until 1 am. The...
